Hyman G. Darling, J.D.
Hyman Darling is chair of the estate planning and elder law department at Bacon Wilson, P.C. He is recognized as a preeminent estate planner with areas of expertise that include all aspects of estate planning, probate, and elder law, as well as alternative dispute resolution. Additional specialties include adoption and real estate. He holds Estate Planning and Elder Bar and Court Admissions in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, U.S. District Court and the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Darling is vice president at the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a lecturer and author on a wide range of topics that include special needs, elder law, Medicaid, and general estate planning. Mr. Darling is an adjunct professor in the LL.M. program at the Western New England University School of Law, where he also serves as student mentor, and is an instructor of estate planning, administration, and probate at Bay Path College. He has received recognition numerous times, including the Boston Magazine SuperLawyers Massachusetts and New England Award and the Human Relations Award from the National Conference for Community & Justice of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Mr. Darling received an A.B. from Boston University and his juris doctorate from Western New England College.
