Kelly Piacenti, MA
Kelly Piacenti is an Assistant Vice President with MassMutual, based in Somerset, New Jersey. In this role she is responsible for the MassMutual SpecialCareSM Program which includes over 600 Special Care Planners. Kelly also oversees partnerships between MassMutual and the largest special needs nonprofit organizations across the country; including The Arc, United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), Autism Society of America (ASA), National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) and Tuberous Sclerosis.
Kelly serves on the National Board of Directors for both The Arc and TASH, national non-profit organizations advocating for people with disabilities. She has spoken at dozens of industry conferences across the country and has been featured as a speaker on several radio talk show programs. Kelly is also published and quoted in numerous industry publications for the special needs community. In the fall of 2015, Kelly was awarded the distinction by “Working Mother” magazine, as a “Working Mother of the Year” in their “100 Best Companies” featured article.
As a mother of a child with special needs, Kelly possesses the knowledge, insight, and empathy to act as a mentor and resource for families facing similar challenges.
Kelly has worked with MassMutual since July of 2016. Before joining MassMutual, she led the MetLife Center for Special Needs Planning, where she was employed from 1991 through 2016. Kelly holds her Master’s degree and resides in Chester, New Jersey, with her husband and four children.
