Rana McNamara, CFRE®
Rana Gidumal McNamara joined The American College of Financial Services in 2012. Appointed Assistant Vice President of Advancement, she is responsible for annual and major gift campaigns, fundraising communications, and the prestigious annual President’s Dinner gala event. She brings 30 years of professional fundraising experience to The College, having served as senior executive for educational, social services, and arts non-profit organizations. Ms. McNamara was the founder of the Parents Association for a private special needs school that educates children with language-based learning differences. The Parents Association provided seminars for families on a wide range of topics. Her son, Andrew, graduated from this school and is currently attending the Community College of Philadelphia. Rana and her family are active participants in Special Olympics of Philadelphia. She also serves on the board for a local historic preservation organization. A graduate of Rutgers University, Rana is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive® (CFRE®) designation, the first globally recognized credential for fundraising professionals. She is also in the process of completing The College’s Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®) designation program.
